Pargaon Youth Reunites Elderly Couple

Vasant Bapu Sonawane and Malan Vasant Sonawane, an elderly couple from Loni, were on their way to their village from Pandharpur when they were separated at Pargaon.

Pargaon: On the day of Lakshmi Pujan in Bhimashankar Sugar Factory area of Pargaon (Taluka Ambegaon), the elderly couple was met by the youth. He then reached his native place Loni safely in a vehicle.

Vasant Bapu Sonawane and Malan Vasant Sonawane, an elderly couple from Loni, were on their way to their village from Pandharpur when they were separated at Pargaon.

Former deputy sarpanch Vitthal Dhoble and security staff Goraksha Badhe found an elderly baba sitting in a state of anxiety for a long time at Bhimashankar Cooperative Sugar Factory bus stand. So Dhoble inquired.

"My wife and I have come from Pandharpur and want to go to my village Loni. But i don't know if my wife moved forward or backward," he said.

Dhoble sat baba there and searched for his grandmother on the road in the factory premises.

A grandmother was found sleeping on the side of the road next to the Bhimashankar factory petrol pump, when asked for her name, she said, "We came from Pandharpur.

"Our owner Vasant Bapu Sonawane and I have made a mistake. Vitthal Dhoble, Goraksha Badhe and Dattatray Thorat arranged for the couple to meet. At the same time, the elderly Sonawane couple was put in vasant Sakharam Tambe's car passing by and sent to their native place Loni.
