Pune: In a dramatic turn of events, the L3 Liquid Leisure Lounge pub on Fergusson College (FC) Road faced vandalism today after a video showing boys consuming drugs in its bathroom went viral on social media yesterday (June 23). The video has sparked a series of actions, leading to significant developments.

Activists from the Patit Pavan Sanghatna took to the streets, throwing stones and causing damage to the L3 Liquid Leisure Lounge pub around 1 PM today (June 24). This act of vandalism was in response to the viral video, which has raised concerns about drug use in public establishments.

Meanwhile, the State Excise Department and Pune Police have sealed the pub and arrested eight individuals, including Ravi Maheshwari, Utkarsh Deshmane, Yogendra Girase, Manas Malik, and Akshay Kamthe. The authorities are also set to question other young attendees of the party for further information regarding the incident.

Bar owners Santosh Kamthe and Sachin Kamthe had leased the establishment to three individuals. The party was organized by Akshay Kamthe and attended by around 50 individuals.

Despite regulations, the bar was operating past 1:30 AM last night. The main entrance was kept closed, with party-goers being granted access through a secondary gate.

An event manager had secured permission from the bar owners to host a party for 40 to 50 people. All hotel staff are being questioned as part of the inquiry.

A shocking video of young boys consuming drugs in the bathroom of Liquid Leisure Lounge on FC Road in Pune has prompted widespread concern and demands for stricter anti-drugs enforcement.

Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar has suspended Police Inspector (Crime) Anil Mane and Assistant Police Inspector Dinesh Patil, both posted at Shivajinagar police station, under whose jurisdiction the L3 pub was operating beyond permissible time limit.
