The Ganesh immersion procession, a significant cultural event in Pune, attracts thousands of devotees and onlookers every year. This influx of people from across the region often leads to traffic bottlenecks and parking challenges.

To address this, Deputy Commissioner of the Traffic Department Amol Zende announced that parking spaces have been allocated for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers at key locations in the city.

The designated parking zones are strategically spread across major areas to ensure that visitors can easily park their vehicles and participate in the immersion ceremony.

Key locations such as Shivaji Akhada, SSPMS Ground, and Fergusson College Ground will accommodate both two-wheelers and cars, while popular spots like Peshwe Garden and Sarasbaug will cater specifically to two-wheelers.

Additionally, parking arrangements have been made along major roads and public areas, including Sanjeevani Medical College Ground on Karve Road, Patil Plaza in Mitramandal, and areas near Dandekar Bridge and Ganesh Mala. These spots have been chosen to ensure maximum convenience for those coming from various parts of the city.

The police have advised citizens to use these designated parking areas to avoid unnecessary traffic congestion and ensure the smooth functioning of the procession.
