Pune: In an effort to enhance travel experiences during the Diwali holidays, PMPML (Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited) has announced the introduction of affordable tourism bus services.

These smart AC electric buses, which have been in operation for the past one and a half years, will run every Saturday, Sunday, and on public holidays.

Modeled after the popular "Pune Darshan" service, these buses will offer convenient travel to various tourist destinations in and around Pune.

To cater to increased demand during the holiday season, PMPML has launched eight distinct bus routes covering key religious, cultural, and natural attractions.

The tourism buses will depart at 9 AM and return in the evening, providing passengers with a full day of exploration and enjoyment.

The bus routes include popular destinations such as Jejuri, Morgaon, Saswad, Sinhagad Fort, Panshet Dam, and the ISKCON Temple.

For example, Route 1 travels from Hadapsar to Jejuri and Morgaon, while Route 4 covers Pune Station to Sinhagad Fort and Panshet Dam. Each bus is equipped with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable journey for all passengers.

Affordable Pricing and Group Discounts

Each ticket is priced at ₹500 per passenger. In addition, PMPML offers a special group discount, where a group booking for 33 passengers comes with a 100% discount on five tickets.

This makes it an attractive option for families and groups looking to explore the region's attractions during the Diwali break.

Tickets for the tourism buses can be purchased at major PMPML bus depots, including Deccan Gymkhana, Pune Station, Swargate, Katraj, Hadapsar, Bhosari, Nigdi, and Manpa Bhavan. A guide will be present on each bus to assist passengers with information and ensure a smooth travel experience.

To book tickets or inquire about the various routes and destinations, passengers can contact PMPML coordinator Nitin Gurav at 9850501862.
