Police Recruitment in Pune: 27-Year-Old Man Dies During Running Exercise

Pune: Amidst the ongoing police recruitment process organized by the state government, a tragic incident occurred at the Shivajinagar police grounds in Pune.

A 27-year-old man, Tushar Baban Bhalke from Sangamner, collapsed and died while running as part of the recruitment activities.

According to reports, Tushar arrived at the Shivajinagar police grounds around 8 AM. During the running exercise, he suddenly fell to the ground. He was immediately rushed to Sassoon Hospital for treatment.

However, despite medical efforts, his blood pressure dropped, leading to his death. It is suspected that Tushar Bhalke suffered a heart attack.

This incident follows two other fatalities during the police recruitment process in Mumbai, raising concerns about the rigorous physical demands placed on candidates.
