President Droupadi Murmu Pune Visit: Drones Banned, Some Schools to Remain Closed

Some schools in Lavale area will remain closed on July 29. Restrictions on aerial activities will be in place from 12:00 AM on July 28 to 12:00 AM on July 29.

Pune: Ahead of President Droupadi Murmu's visit, Pune District Collector Dr. Suhas Divase has imposed restrictions on aerial activities such as paragliding, hot air balloon safaris, drones, and microlight airplanes.

These restrictions will be in place from 12:00 AM on July 28 to 12:00 AM on July 29, covering Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, and Pune Rural District.

This measure aims to ensure VIP security and maintain law and order. Violations of this order will result in legal action under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023.

President Murmu is scheduled for a three-day visit to Maharashtra from July 28 to 30. She will visit Kolhapur's Mahalakshmi Temple, attend a Golden Jubilee event for Lijjat Papad in Warananagar, and participate in significant events in Pune, Mumbai, and two Marathwada districts, Latur and Nanded.

The visit aims to address various regional issues and mark important local celebrations. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis, and Ajit Pawar will accompany her at these events.

President Murmu will be attending the convocation ceremony at Symbiosis International University in Lavale. In view of this visit, some schools in Lavale area will remain closed on July 29.

Tree House Secondary School, Parkhe Vasti Sus Gaon; Orchid International School, Sus; Zilla Parishad School, Sus Gaon Kaman; Sanskarodaya Primary School, Shitaladevi Nagar; Little Berries Pre Primary School, Thaksen Nagar; Kidzee Pre Primary School, Sus Gaon; Shree Vidya Pre Primary School and Dhruva Global School, Lavale will remain closed.
