Pune: In a disturbing case from Punawale, a husband and three others have been charged with sexual assault after the husband allegedly instructed the men to assault his wife on different days while he recorded the acts.

The victim and all the accused individuals are reported to be well-educated and employed in a multinational company.

The 30-year-old woman initially lodged her complaint at a police station in Thane City. However, as the events transpired in the Ravet area, the case was transferred to Ravet Police Station for further investigation on October 16.

The complainant, an engineer by profession, reported that the incidents took place between September 2023 and April 6, 2024.

According to the complaint, the husband asked three individuals to sexually assault his wife on separate occasions. He recorded these incidents and threatened to release the explicit footage.

Additionally, the husband is accused of engaging in unnatural acts with his wife and verbally abusing her when she resisted. The victim has since relocated to Thane, where she is currently residing and working remotely.

She stated that the incidents occurred during a party in Punawale, after which her husband forced her to establish physical relations with his friends for three consecutive days.

Ravet Police are currently investigating the case to gather further evidence and statements from the involved parties.

In an seperate incident reported earlier, a woman had accused that her husband and stepfather-in-law forced her into prostitution. The duo pressured her into downloading a mobile application, through which potential clients contacted the victim.

The income generated from this illegal activity was used by the accused for their personal gain and household expenses.
