Pune-Buldhana Travel Bus Driver Asks Instagram Profile Details, Molests Minor Girl

Bus driver asked the minor girl to sleep next to him and then proceeded to touch her inappropriately, including her waist.

Pune: Two disturbing incidents of sexual misconduct have been reported in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad cities.

In the first incident, a 34-year-old woman filed a complaint with the Vimantal Police Station, alleging that a bus driver, Krishna, molested her 15-year-old daughter during a journey from Pune to Buldhana.

The incident occurred on September 17th between 10:30 pm and September 18th, 6:30 am.

According to the complaint, the bus driver asked the minor girl to "sleep next to me" and then proceeded to touch her inappropriately, including her waist. The driver also asked for the girl's Instagram ID. 

The victim and her mother were traveling from Janak Baba Darga to Buldhana when the incident took place.

Police Inspector Chaudhari is investigating the case, and a complaint has been filed against the bus driver.

Man Arrested for Rape and Threats
In a separate incident, Samarth police arrested 32-year-old Santosh Maruti Jaybhay for allegedly raping a 30-year-old woman after threatening her. 

The accused and victim knew each other, and the incident occurred at Jaybhay's residence in Kolate Patil Tower, Marunji, Hinjewadi. According to the police, Jaybhay raped the victim without her consent and later threatened to harm her and himself if she reported the incident. 

The victim filed a complaint with the Samarth police, leading to Jaybhay's arrest. Assistant Police Inspector Patil is investigating the case.
