Pune is set to host the ‘Pune Fountain Pen Show 2024,’ a unique exhibition showcasing a wide variety of fountain pens and writing instruments from more than 55 renowned companies representing over 13 countries.

The event will take place from October 4 to October 6 at One Place, Ferguson College Road, with timings from 10 AM to 8:30 PM.

The exhibition promises to be a paradise for pen enthusiasts, featuring a vast collection of writing tools that cater to different preferences and needs.

Indian pen manufacturers will be showcasing a range of stylish and innovative pens, with a special focus on fountain pens designed for students. Attendees can also explore an array of calligraphy pens, vintage pens, and a dazzling selection of over 100 different shades of ink bottles.

In addition to pens, the exhibition will also display premium notebooks, pen storage cases, and the opportunity to create customized pens using advanced 3D printing machines.

This unique offering is expected to draw both collectors and casual attendees alike, who can witness the evolution of fountain pens and enjoy a hands-on experience with state-of-the-art writing tools.

As a part of the event, a handwriting competition will be held under the theme of the ‘National Pledge.’ The competition is open to participants of all age groups, and entries can be written in Marathi, Hindi, or English.

Participants are required to write the pledge on an A4-sized sheet using only a fountain pen. All entries must be submitted at the exhibition venue.

Event organizer Rashmi Nagarkar Pillai has urged people to participate enthusiastically, as the competition aims to promote the art of handwriting and encourage the use of fountain pens.

With free entry, the ‘Pune Fountain Pen Show 2024’ is expected to attract a large number of visitors, including students, professionals, and hobbyists. The event is a celebration of craftsmanship, innovation, and the timeless allure of fountain pens.
