Pune: Gold Prices Dip Slightly Ahead of Dussehra, Buyers Eye Opportunity

Neelam Karale

Gold prices in Pune have seen a slight decline, making it a favorable time for buyers looking to purchase the precious metal during the festive season.

As of today, October 11, 2024, the price of 22-carat gold in Pune stands at ₹70,240 per 10 grams, which is a minor drop from yesterday’s price of ₹70,250. Similarly, 24-carat gold is priced at ₹76,630 per 10 grams, down slightly from ₹76,640 the previous day.

This small dip in gold prices presents a great opportunity for consumers, especially those planning to buy gold during Dussehra, a popular time for gold purchases.

Market experts, however, are predicting a potential rise in prices in the coming days, which might prompt buyers to take advantage of the current lower rates.

Gold prices in Pune align with those in other major cities like Mumbai, where the rates for both 22-carat and 24-carat gold remain the same. Pune’s residents now have the chance to make purchases at competitive prices, which may increase soon based on market trends.

On the silver front, the prices vary significantly across different cities. In Chennai, the price of silver stands at ₹99,900 per kilogram, while in Mumbai and Delhi, it is ₹93,900 per kilogram. In Kolkata, silver is priced at ₹93,800 per kilogram, and in Bengaluru, the price is ₹84,900 per kilogram.

This fluctuation in prices gives consumers the opportunity to make purchases at competitive rates, particularly in the case of silver where the difference between cities is noticeable.
