Road Closure from Ekvira Devi Temple to Karla Malavali

Tourists visiting the waterfall at Bhaje and Malavali should use the old highway via Waksai Phata-Sadapur-Malavali-Bhaje.

Pune: Due to construction work on the Indrayani River bridge at Karla, the road from Ekvira Devi Temple Base to Karla Temple and Karla Malavali will be closed to all traffic from July 30 to August 28. This order, issued by District Collector Dr. Suhas Divase, aims to ensure public safety.

All traffic heading towards Malavali-Bhaje village from Karla and from Malavali via Sadapur to Waksai Phata will be redirected through the Karla-Waksai Phata-Sadapur route.

Tourist vehicles visiting Kusgaon-Aundhe-Malavali will be restricted, with one-way traffic enforced via Malavali-Aundhe-Kusgaon.

Tourists visiting the waterfall at Bhaje and Malavali should use the old highway via Waksai Phata-Sadapur-Malavali-Bhaje.

One-way traffic will be implemented towards Pathargaon-Boraj-Malavali village. Vehicles from Malavali will travel via Devale to the Pune-Mumbai Expressway and the old highway through Malavali-Aundhe-Kusgaon-Lonavala.

One-way traffic will also be enforced from Bhaje to Lohagad. Vehicles heading towards Pune-Mumbai from Lohagad will use the Lohagad-Dudhivare Khind-Aundholi-Aundhe route to the Pune-Mumbai Expressway or the new Pune-Mumbai route via Lohagad-Dudhivare Khind-Pawananagar.

Two-wheelers and three-wheelers heading from Lohagad to Mumbai or Pune will use the old Mumbai-Pune route via Lohagad-Dudhivare Khind-Aundholi-Aundhe Bridge-Kusgaon-Lonavala.

Heavy vehicles will be restricted on the old Pune-Mumbai highway from Karla Phata to Vehergaon during this period.
