Rs 2.25 Crore Duped on the Pretext of Returns in Crypto Currency

Pune: A youth and some of his friends were allegedly duped of Rs 2.25 crore on the pretext of triple return on investment in crypto currency in 15 months, police said on Sunday.

The incident took place in Bhekarainagar area of Fursungi since January 18, 2022. A 30-year-old man from Fursungi has lodged a complaint at Hadapsar police station.

The police have registered a case against Isaak Bagwan (a resident of Sangli), founder Ismail, Dastgir Patel, Jahangir Khan, Zeeshan Heblikar and Black Aura Classic YouTuber.

According to police, the complainant invested Rs 40 lakh with the accused. The complainant received a refund of Rs 28 lakh. But the accused did not pay the amount to the complainant youth and invested in other places. The complainant and his friends also invested around Rs 2.25 crore. But the accused did not give them any refund either.

Auto-rickshaws, including two-wheelers, vandalised
Pune: A gang thrashed a youth and vandalised three auto-rickshaws, including 10 two-wheelers, with wooden sticks in the building. The incident took place in the early hours of Saturday at the PMC building on Aundh DP Road.

Sahil Pawar (22), a resident of PMC Building, DP Road, Aundh, has lodged a complaint at Chaturshringi police station.

The police have registered a case against Omkar Narawade (20), Piyush (21), Aryan More (20), a resident of Aundh and four other accomplices.

According to police, the accused stabbed the complainant Sahil and his mother Deepali with a weapon and injured them due to a misunderstanding of a fight at night.

He also hit a cement block on Sunny Sonawane's face and injured him. The gang then vandalised 10 two-wheelers and three auto-rickshaws in the building.
