Pune: A young man has been booked for organizing an Aarti in front of the Ganpati idol at Saras Baug, Pune, drawing a crowd in the process. The man in question has been identified as Sangram (Akshay) Dhole Patil.

Devotees from across Maharashtra visit the Ganpati temple at Saras Baug. However, tensions arose after rumors spread about Namaz being offered at the site. This led to aggressive reactions from certain Hindu organizations, prompting Sangram Khube to organize Aarti every Friday.

Following this, a case was registered against Khube at the Swargate police station. He has been mandated to adhere to ten specific directives. Anand Dave, president of the Hindu Mahasangh, has condemned the action taken against Khube.

Devotees visit the Saras Baug Ganpati temple not just from Pune but from all over Maharashtra, seeking blessings from the deity known for fulfilling vows. The filing of a case for organizing an Aarti has left many surprised.

Directives Issued to the Young Man:

  • He shall not commit any offense in the future.

  • He shall not tamper with any evidence related to this case.

  • He shall not threaten, offer inducements, or give assurances to any person aware of the facts of the case to dissuade them from disclosing such facts to the court or police officers.

  • He shall appear before the court as required or directed.

  • He shall participate in the investigation as necessary and cooperate with the inquiry.

  • He shall disclose all facts truthfully to ensure a proper investigation of the case.

  • He shall prepare all necessary documents and materials relevant to the investigation.

  • He shall fully cooperate with and assist the investigation.

  • He shall not allow any co-accused or persons related to the case to destroy any evidence.

  • He shall adhere to any other conditions imposed by the investigating officer.
