Speaking at the golden jubilee celebration of the Satara District Friends Association at Mahatma Jotiba Phule Cultural Bhavan in Wanawadi on Sunday, Pawar highlighted the pressing need for administrative reorganization.

The event also saw the release of a commemorative booklet and the presentation of the Ajinkyatara Award to Yashwant Salunkhe and the Krishna-Koynamai Award to Aditi Gopichand Swami.

Former Governor Shrinivas Patil, former State Minister Balasaheb Shivarkar, Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) city president Prashant Jagtap, MLA Chetan Tupe, former MLA Mahadev Babar, Jagannath Bapu Shewale, Rayat Shikshan Sanstha president Chandrakant Dalvi, former corporators Abhijit Shivarkar, Praveen Tupe, J.P. Desai, S.B. Patil, Anna Salunkhe, Dashrath Jadhav, Sandeep Salunkhe, and others were present on the occasion.

Initially, former State Minister Shivarkar expressed his thoughts. "There are ongoing disputes regarding reservations, and you should mediate in this matter.

Additionally, there is a need for a new municipal corporation for the eastern part of Pune city, and this should be considered," he requested of Pawar.

Retain Hadapsar Constituency

During the event, Pawar visited the contact office of former corporator Shivarkar. At that time, Congress workers from the Hadapsar Assembly constituency demanded that the constituency be retained for the Congress party in the upcoming elections, making their request to Sharad Pawar and Shrinivas Patil.
