Skill Development Center to be Inaugurated Tomorrow by CM Eknath Shinde

The inauguration ceremony will take place at the Government Distance Education Polytechnic in Shivajinagar, Pune.

Pune: The Skill Development Center, jointly established by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), will be inaugurated tomorrow, August 31, at 12 PM.

The inauguration ceremony will take place at the Government Distance Education Polytechnic in Shivajinagar, Pune, and will be conducted by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

The event will witness the presence of several prominent leaders, including Union Minister of State for Cooperation Murlidhar Mohol, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister and District Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar,

Cooperation Minister Dilip Walse-Patil, Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil, Industries Minister Uday Samant, School Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, and Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Council Dr. Neelam Gorhe.

BJP state vice president Rajesh Pandey, along with Kiran Sali, Vishwesh Kulkarni of Yashasvi Institute, Sonali Gill, Manager at NSDC, and Sumit Singh, Deputy General Manager at NSDC, were present during the announcement.

Dr. Rajendra Patil, Principal of the Government Distance Education Polytechnic, shared details of the upcoming event.

The center, in its first phase, will offer training in sectors such as Healthcare, Hospital, Beauty and Wellness, and Green Jobs (Solar Energy) through NSDC International, as stated by Rajesh Pandey, President of Samarth Yuva Foundation.

Recently, the Maharashtra government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Germany to provide skilled manpower. This initiative will create job opportunities for approximately four lakh youths from the state, offering them attractive salaries of around two lakhs per month.
