The exams will begin on October 22, 2024, and will be conducted in the traditional offline mode. The written and practical examinations will be held in a phased manner for regular and backlog students enrolled in diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses for the academic year 2024-25.

  • Diploma: October 15 to October 30 | After October 15

  • First-Year BA/B.Com/B.Sc (2019 syllabus): October 15 to October 30 | After October 15

According to the decision made by the university’s governing authorities, the winter semester exams, which cover the period of October to November, will be organized following a comprehensive schedule.

The university has notified students that detailed timetables will be published progressively on its official website, www.unipune.ac.in. The university has urged students to keep themselves updated by checking the website regularly for any changes or announcements related to their exams.

The exams for first-year students of diploma courses, undergraduate programs in Arts, Commerce, and Science, as well as first-year law programs (LLB and BA LLB) will be managed by the respective colleges.

Each college will be responsible for preparing the exam timetables, drafting question papers, conducting the examinations, evaluating answer sheets, and entering the results into the university’s secured internal system. This was clarified by Dr. Mahesh Kakade, Director of the Board of Examination and Evaluation, in a recent circular.

However, all other undergraduate and postgraduate exams, except for the first-year undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce, and Science, will be administered directly by the university.

The winter semester exams will also include exams for older courses and external students, with subjects being organized based on equivalency. Dr. Kakade emphasized the importance for students to verify the information regarding equivalent subjects on the university’s website and to take the necessary exams accordingly.
