Teacher Sunita Memane Transforms ZP School in Daund

Sunita Memane, along with her husband Suresh Memane, has been working as a co-teacher in various schools over the years.

Pune: In an era where teaching is becoming increasingly challenging, Zilla Parishad Primary School, Dorgewadi (Taluka Daund), has set an exemplary standard for primary education under the leadership of teacher Sunita Suresh Memane. Known for her dedication and innovative methods, Sunita Memane has become a favorite among students and parents alike.

Sunita Memane, along with her husband Suresh Memane, has been working as a co-teacher in various schools over the years. Wherever they go, they bring about remarkable changes in both the school’s infrastructure and academic standards.

The schools they work at consistently see an improvement in quality, with the number of students increasing steadily.

Their work has not gone unnoticed. Sunita Memane has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Taluka Ideal Teacher Award, the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raje Award, and the Savitribai Phule Inspiration Award. Additionally, she secured second place in the Taluka Educational Video Creation Competition.

Previously, Sunita Memane worked at the Zilla Parishad Primary School in Mankobawadi (Yavat), where she made substantial improvements to the school’s infrastructure and academic performance, increasing the student count from 45 to 80. She and her husband are known for their ability to involve parents in the school’s development.

In the past year, Sunita Memane was transferred to Dorgewadi School. Since her arrival, the student count has risen from 28 to 45, and five students even transferred from English-medium schools after hearing about her reputation.

She has implemented various initiatives such as festival celebrations, competitions, multiplication table recitations, handwriting improvement, and English reading programs. Her continuous efforts have strengthened her connection with students and improved their academic performance.
