Pune: The maximum and minimum temperatures in Pune are stable and fog continues. The minimum temperature is likely to remain steady at 17 degrees Celsius in the next two to three days and is likely to drop further from Friday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

Meanwhile, the maximum temperature is likely to remain in the range of 31-32 for the next week.

Shivajinagar recorded a minimum temperature of 17.6 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. It had recorded 17.4 degrees Celsius on Monday.

From now on, the temperature is likely to drop further and the sky will remain clear and fog is likely to occur in the morning, the Met department said.

Though the minimum and maximum temperatures are fluctuating in Pune, there has been little difference. The temperature, which dropped last week, had increased during Diwali.

As a result, the maximum temperature and the minimum temperature during the night also increased. The afternoon temperature has now dropped to 31.7 degrees on Tuesday from 34 degrees.

At present, the sky is clear and cold winds are blowing towards Pune. It's also foggy in the morning. The sky will remain mostly clear till November 11, while fog is likely to occur in the morning till November 9, followed by an increase in the heat wave between November 10 and 11.
