Pune: Investigations revealed that probationary IAS officer Puja Khedkar had made unreasonable demands at various government departments where she was assigned for training, not just at the Pune District Collector's Office. These departments have submitted reports to the Pune District Collector's Office regarding her behavior.

Before joining the District Collector's Office, Khedkar was posted at the government treasury office, where she reportedly demanded a separate office and vehicle.

Additionally, she failed to attend her scheduled training at the District Court. It has also been reported that during her training with the District Superintendent of Police, she allegedly misused her position to pressure senior police officers regarding land issues in Mulshi Taluka. These details have been provided in reports sent to the District Collector, according to officials who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Khedkar's training program was planned across various government offices in Pune District after she was selected for training. She joined the District Collector's Office on June 3.

Reports of her unreasonable demands include her father using inappropriate language towards Tehsildars of the general branch to secure facilities for her, and Khedkar setting up her office in the private chamber of the Additional District Collector without permission. These actions have brought the matter to light.

Khedkar was scheduled for training at the District Court on June 27 and 28 but did not attend. A report regarding this was received from the District Court. She was also assigned to the District Treasury Office from July 1 to 5, where she demanded a separate office, which was provided.

A report on her performance during this period has been received from the Treasury Office. Her training with the District Superintendent of Police was scheduled from June 24 to 26.

During this period, she demanded a government vehicle from the Superintendent of Police but used her private vehicle to travel to various police stations and training locations under the jurisdiction of the Rural Police, as noted in the Superintendent’s report.

The Khedkar family owns 25 acres of land in Mulshi Taluka, which has led to disputes with neighboring farmers. During her training with the Pune District Superintendent of Police, Khedkar visited the Paud Police Station in a private vehicle instead of the government vehicle provided.

Reliable sources indicate that she pressured senior police officers regarding the land dispute, as noted in the District Superintendent's report.
