Ujani Dam Reaches 87% Capacity

Pune: Ujani Dam, vital for the districts of Pune, Solapur, and Ahmednagar, has reached over 87% capacity, bringing joy to all who rely on it.

The total storage capacity of Ujani Dam is 110.63 TMC. As of 5 PM today, 20,000 cusecs of water will be released into the Bhima River.

In a remarkable turnaround, 46 TMC of water has been collected in Ujani in just nine days.

According to data as of 12 PM today (Sunday), Ujani Dam is 87.68% full, holding a total of 110.63 TMC of water. By 5 PM, water will be released from the dam into the Bhima River.

On Friday, July 26, Ujani Dam transitioned from negative to positive storage. Over the past nine days, 46 TMC of water has been accumulated in Ujani.

This monsoon season, from July 1 to today, a total of 66 TMC of water has been collected. Currently, an inflow of 85,128 cusecs from Daund is being recorded at Ujani.
