Pune: Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) President Prakash Ambedkar has criticized Vasant More who left the party to join hands with Shiv Sena (UBT) faction. Vasant More's politics is of 'Aaya Ram Gaya Ram' kind and he lacks the ability to understand people, said Prakash Ambedkar.

More had previously left MNS to seek a Lok Sabha candidacy from Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi. However, More lost the election from Pune Loksabha constituency. More has now decided to join Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena keeping in mind the potential assembly seat contest from Hadapsar constituency.

Speaking with media, More had said, "From the beginning, I had decided to contest the Lok Sabha elections as an independent candidate. During this period, I met Prakash Ambedkar.

I felt it was necessary to have organizational support and saw an opportunity to do good work in Pune under the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi. However, I did not achieve the success I expected within Vanchit. The voters and workers of Vanchit did not accept me."

"Only certain workers of VBA worked for me. Prakash Ambedkar and Sujat Ambedkar gave me time, and we reviewed the voting pattern by division. Vanchit voters did not vote for me in areas which are considered as their bastions. I personally messaged Prakash Ambedkar.

Vanchit was established in 2018, and those responsible for Pune made no efforts to grow the organization. This dissatisfaction is present among Vanchit workers. I had told Prakash Ambedkar that changes should be made for the growth of the organization," claims More.

In response to More's statement, Prakash Ambedkar criticized him, comparing his political moves to those of a fickle-minded person and claiming that More lacks the ability to understand people, leading to such repeated shifts in allegiance.

Ambedkar's remarks came after a meeting with the Chief Minister, during which they discussed several critical issues.
