Pune: In a shocking incident on Friday night, 19th, three individuals riding a motorcycle were seriously injured when a leopard collided with them while crossing the road in Thorandale, Ambegaon.
The injured victims, identified as Dhanshree Chetan Jadhav, Milind Jadhav, and Aradhya Chetan Jadhav, were returning home when the accident occurred.
Dhanshree Chetan Jadhav, a woman from Jadhavwadi (Tal. Ambegaon), her son Aradhya Chetan Jadhav, and nephew Milind Jadhav were returning home from Manchar on a motorcycle around night time on Friday, July 19. When they reached the Thorandale area, a leopard suddenly dashed into their motorcycle while attempting to cross the road.
Due to the impact, all three fell off the motorcycle onto the road. The leopard also fell onto the road for a while. At that moment, a pickup driver, who was approaching, honked loudly, causing the leopard to flee back into the trees.
The injured, Dhanshree Jadhav, Milind Jadhav, and Aradhya Jadhav, were taken to a private hospital in Ranjani by the local villagers. After initial treatment in Ranjani, they were transferred to Max Care Hospital in Manchar for further treatment.
In this accident, Aradhya Jadhav and Milind Jadhav suffered minor injuries, while Dhanshree Jadhav was seriously injured with significant injuries to her leg. She is currently undergoing further treatment at a private hospital.
