Woman Stabs Husband Over Suspected Affair in Kondhwa

Pune: A woman in the Kondhwa area allegedly stabbed her husband in the neck with a knife, suspecting him of having an illicit relationship with a female relative.

The police have registered a case against the woman involved. The injured husband has been identified as Yogesh Vilas Waghmare (39), a resident of Chandrabhaganagar, Kondhwa.

A case has been filed against Komal Yogesh Waghmare (35) in connection with the incident. Yogesh lodged a complaint at the Kondhwa Police Station.

According to the police, Komal suspected that her husband, Yogesh, was involved in an illicit relationship with a female relative, leading to frequent arguments between the couple.

On Monday night, the argument escalated, resulting in Komal attacking Yogesh with a kitchen knife. She also allegedly bit him on the shoulder during the altercation.

Assistant Police Inspector Jadhav is conducting further investigations into the case.
