AISSMS CHMCT’s Atithya 2020 concludes

PUNE: AISSMS CHMCT’s grand finale of 12th edition of Atithya 2020 marked the end of a successful event in which the top hotel management colleges participated in Pune. The third day opened with a game-changer competition ‘Match Thy Wits’. 

In all, participants contested in 12 competitions for a total score of 700. Prominent juries included celebrity chef Shailendra Kekade and lively female bartenders Kasturi Banerjee and Khushnaaz Raghina.

The Champion of Champions was IHM Kolkata, the first runner-up was Jindal School of Hotel Management, Vadodara while the Pune-based Bharati Vidyapeeth IHMCT finished as the second runner-up.

Malojiraje Chhatrapati, the Secretary of AISSM Society, who presided over the function appreciated the efforts of entire AISSMS CHMCT team. The evening unfolded into a grand gala dinner positioned on a casino theme called ‘High Stakes”. 

The organising team consisted of Shubhankar Shellar, Bhushan Gavit, Samarjeet Sawant, Arpit Pradhan, Sourabh Kothawade, Krutarth Naik, Rushikesh Patil, Mayank Borkar, Pinac Bhat, Nitish Nagarkar, Mansi Pande, Ayush Patwardhan, Rudra Patil, Tanmay Malusare, Prachi Jain, Jitendriya Dandekar, Sai Patki, Swarali Isware, Kaustubh Darekar, Mayur Mote, Avishkar Bhadauria, Shaunak Kanchan and Rajan Ambadkar.

The event was supported by Savitribai Phule Pune University, in addition to Venky’s, Sheraton Grande as Hospitality Partner and Sakal as media partner. Other sponsors included PHA, Hospitality Biz, Food & Hospitality world. 

Competition sponsors included Spiritpedia, International Beverage School, Everest, Eduvator Overseas, Rajarshi Shahu Bank, Sula Vineyards, Hypro Engineering, Skyroots, Kareer Krafters, Bank of Baroda and Oberoi Overseas Education.
