Bishop’s School holds annual athletic meet

Pune: The Bishop’s Co-ed School, Kalyani Nagar, held their 14th annual athletic meet at Jeejeebhoy ground on Saturday.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Deepak Sakore was the chief guest. Wing Commander Wilson and J Edwin, member of the board of the Bishop’s Educational Society, were 
also present.

The hurdles and flat races for the different categories brought out the spirit of true sportsmanship. The school saw mass student participation. The inter-school invitational relay, past and present - (4 x 100 metres) and inter-school staff relays were some of the most exciting events of the day.

Cooper House bagged the prize for being the best marching squad. The Freese House won the Athletic Championship for academic year 2017-18.

The programme was coordinated by S Kamei, the sports secretary, and compered by Ashley Eates, assistant to the headmaster and Sandra D’Souza Jose.
