Pune: The students from CM International School, Baner Balewadi Road of Std I, II and III visited ‘The Sitteria’, a newly opened pizza outlet in Baner.
The newly built place has a unique decor and an attractive seating. The students along with the staff started with the process of coffee making at the store. They crushed coffee beans in the jar and made a paste out of it.
The process of squeezing and crushing of beans releases the coffee’s oils, which are then more easily extracted during the infusion process with hot water, making the coffee taste richer and smoother. This was done through an electrically powered mill.
Further, the staff and students went ahead to observe the making of pizza, right from the dough till the toppings. The makers of pizza showed them the kitchen, where a large amount of dough was being prepared for pizzas. The chefs wore gloves and chefs’ hat for this process. This dough was then put in the oven to bake pizza bread.
The students were excited to add their favourite toppings to their pizza bread by themselves. Spreading the cheese on them was an actual fun and a delicacy to the bun.
