MMCC organises faculty development programme

Pune: Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s College of Commerce (MMCC) in association with Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s College of Engineering had organised a faculty development programme on ‘Case Studies as an Effective Pedagogy for Teaching and Learning’.

The programme was inaugurated by Dr Sanjay Kaptan, Chair Professor, Savarkar Chair, Department of Commerce, SPPU. More than 35 academicians from different colleges affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University attended this faculty development 
programme.

During the event, Principal Dr MD Lawrence, MMCC spoke on ‘Handling of Case Studies with the use of Emotional Intelligence’ and Dr Shirish Limaye, Assistant Professor and HoD of Commerce, Symbiosis College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune presented two topics, ‘Significance and Utility of Case Studies for Teacher’s and ‘Effective Application of Case Studies in the Teaching-Learning Process’.
