Pune: After Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray decided to impose a lockdown style curfew till May 1 in the entire state, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) on Wednesday also issued a new set of guidelines.

PMC in its latest order has put up restrictions for the housing societies. To prevent the further spread of COVID-19, the entry of outsiders will be prohibited in all housing societies. Also, the administration has stated that those regularly visiting the society, should undergo the RTPCR test.

The order also states that, as outsiders will not be allowed to enter the premises, a sign-board should be set up at the entrance of the society for the same. Also, the ongoing vaccination process should be done as per the guidelines given by the central government.

MICRO-CONTAINMENT ZONE

If more than five COVID-19 patients are found in the residential society, it will be declared as a micro-containment zone. The municipal corporation will also keep an eye on this micro-containment zone. A society violating these rules will be penalised up to Rs 10,000.

Home delivery, parcel to be collected from the main entry

If the delivery executive wants to handle the parcel or delivery to more than one member in the same society, the executive will be asked to restrict his entry to the main entrance. The order states that the parcel should be delivered by any office-bearer of the society to the designated flat.

NO GYM, SWIMMING POOLS IN SOCIETIES
