Pune: The world of the internet is filled with several food challenges that are both fun and dangerous. While challenges are meant to be enjoyable, some people take it too far. Like, the new ‘Bullet Thali Challenge’.

One of the restaurants in Pune has launched an exclusive offer for its customers. Hotel Shivraj in Pune has launched a ‘Bullet Thali Challenge’. The challenge needs the person to finish a non-veg thali in an hour. The one who finishes it will get a Royal Enfield bike worth Rs 1.65 lakh.

Atul Waikar, the owner of Shivraj Hotel, said, “We thought of launching the contest to invite customers to visit the restaurant. While many eateries are still finding it difficult to make a profit amid COVID-19 pandemic, we have launched this unique challenge.”

“Earlier, we made some similar challenge called Ravan Thali where we asked the customer to finish the thali and win Rs 5,000 in cash. Now, in this four-kg Bullet Thali we are awarding the bike for those who will finish this mega thali in one hour,” he informed.

GORGE ON THE THALI

The Bullet Thali is available at Rs 2,500. The thali consists of over 12 types of non-veg dishes. The thali comprises chicken tandoori, dry chicken, fried surmai, fried fish, prawns’ biryani, dry mutton, chicken gravy, solkadhi and other items on the platter.

Shivraj Hotel, inaugurated eight years ago, is famous in Pune for other thalis too. The restaurant is well-known for thalis such as Special Ravan Thali, Pehlwan Mutton Thali, Malvani Fish Thali, Bakasur Chicken Thali and Sarkar Mutton Thali.
