Today, many of these centers are registered with the Maharashtra Agro-Tourism Corporation and receive substantial support from both banks and the Agriculture Department.

What makes these centers unique is their commitment to eco-friendly living. From mud and stone houses to solar-powered electricity and plates made from natural leaves, the focus is on sustainability.

Visitors can experience organic farming demonstrations, learn to make compost from dry leaves, and even participate in workshops on crafting eco-friendly Ganesha idols.

For food lovers, the rural kitchens serve up delicacies like thalipeeth, bhakri, stuffed brinjal, wild vegetables, and much more. The simplicity of the food, paired with the richness of the natural surroundings, makes for an unforgettable experience.

Farmers have not only benefitted economically from this initiative but also have helped improve infrastructure like roads and local markets, further enhancing the area’s appeal.
