Chennai: In 20th match of the IPL 2021, the David Warner-led SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) will lock horns with the Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals (DC), at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on Sunday.

The Orange Army managed their first win of the season, with a 9-wicket win over Punjab Kings (PBKS). Thus, they will be confident coming into the fixture against the Delhi guys. SRH had performed well with the ball in their previous games but haven't quite managed to maintain their control with the bat. One thing about the batting for SRH is David Warner, Jonny Bairstow, Kane Williamson have shown that they are back in the true form. The introduction of NZ skipper Kane Williamson into the playing XI instantly proved that why he is the man of all form.

Jonny Bairstow's well-paced half-century, assisted by some sensible batting from skipper Warner and Williamson, saw SRH cruise to victory in their last game. However, they were struck by injuries during the triumph, with T Natarajan set to miss the remainder season with a knee problem. Bhuvneshwar Kumar also hobbled off with a thigh strain. Khaleel Ahmed, Abhishek Sharma and Rashid Khan will lead the bowling attack against the formidable DC. Having lost their first three games at the tournament, David Warner and co are in 6th place on the table and will look to climb in the table.

The Delhi unit led by Rishabh Pant will be a different challenge altogether for the SRH franchise as the last year's finalists defeated defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) by 6 wickets in their previous game. The conditions at the Chennai will favour the slower bowlers and the spinners. Thus, spin wizards R Ashwin, Amit Mishra, Axar Patel (if available) may steal the show.

DC rearranged playing XI which looked pretty balanced against the Mumbai Indians. Amit Mishra and Shimron Hetmyer returned to the side, and the former ran through MI's spirited middle-order. Amit Mishra, one of the successful bowlers in IPL accounted for the wickets of Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya, and Kieron Pollard. While, Lalit Yadav and Avesh Khan also shown some decent performance.

Despite Prithvi Shaw’s on and off performance, Shikhar Dhawan and Steve can deal with SRH bowling, courtesy, world class experience. While, Marcus Stoinis, Shimron Hetmyer can show the powerhitting in the death overs.

PROBABLE XI

SRH: David Warner (C), Jonny Bairstow (WK), Kane Williamson, Virat Singh, Vijay Shankar, Abhishek Sharma, Kedar Jadhav, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Khaleel Ahmed, Siddarth Kaul

DC: Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Steven Smith, Lalit Yadav, Rishabh Pant (C and WK), Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kagiso Rabada, Amit Mishra, Avesh Khan
