Chennai: The 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL) season is set to start from April 9 and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni-led returned to the practice session as the three-time champions started the training sessions at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Tuesday.

According to PTI, the practice session started after all the players and staff cleared their RT-PCT rests during the specified quarantine period. Soon after it was learned that MS Dhoni fondly known as ‘Thala’ has started batting session with his CSK teammates at Chennai, the hashtag 'Dhoni Returns' became one of the top trends on Twitter on Wednesday. No doubt the fans are waiting desperately to see Dhoni bringing his best this time around the biggest cricket festival.

Dhoni was also joined by other players such as Ambati Rayudu, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sai Kishore and more as players started the preparations at the Chennai training camp ahead of the IPL 2021.
