Michael Vaughan, the former captain of England is famous for actively giving his ‘over-rated opinions’ about cricket. Called as one of the biggest critic, he made some statements right from when India started their tour against Australia in in November.

On Tuesday, Ajinkya Rahane and co defied all expectations of Michael Vaughan's by clinching the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series at Gabba.

In November, he confidently said that Australia will beat India in all the formats. When India won the T20I series, the former captain came up with another one where he added it was not expected by him that will win the T20I series.

Before the Tests, Vaughan tweeted that Australia will ‘smoke’ India 4-0 in the Test series and got further resolute when India displayed an absolutely dull show at Adelaide.

Coming to the second Test, when India put up a great comeback in Melbourne, he took a U-turn and started clapping the efforts of the team India.

Yet again in the third Test, he was surprised after India’s resilient performance in Boxing Day Test, where Hanuma Vihari and Ravi Ashwin helped India to drew the third Test. Now on Tuesday in the latest turn of events, he was again on team India’s side for the series decider, where Washinton Sundar and Shardul Thakur fought hard to bring India back in the game.

Just after India lifted the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, he said, “Told you all India would lose 4-0. If they lost in Adelaide”

Vaughan was at the receiving end of some funny memes from the excited cricket fans from India on Twitter. After getting some harsh jokes, he once again wrote, “I seem to getting a lot of tweets from #India !!!”
