An Apple Event is more or less a festival in itself -- for both fans and eager tech enthusiasts. And while a lot of us knew what was in store this time around, the tech giant hasn't ceased to give us more than what we expected -- as always! The virtual event brought forth an eclectic range of products with the M1 chip.

If you've missed out on reading about the M1 chip, here's what you should know:

It also introduced the much-anticipated AirTags and Apple TV 4K. Apart from these, the Cupertino-based company introduced a brand new purple colour for its flagship iPhone 12 Pro and Mini series. And talking about colours, Apple unveiled its M1-powered iMac in seven vibrant colours (and also admittedly spoke about making their 'computers disappear'!). However, if you've missed out on the exciting bits of this launch -- don't fret. We've got it covered for you with our breakdown of it:

iPhone 12 Purple

The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini in a purple finish.

iPhone enthusiasts were in for a treat when Apple today unveiled an all-new purple finish for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini. This new colour beautifully accentuates the flat aluminium edges of iPhone 12, which are perfectly colour-matched to the precision-milled back glass.

Both models feature an advanced dual-camera system, computational photography features and the highest-quality video in a smartphone, with expansive edge-to-edge Super Retina XDR displays with OLED for a brighter, more immersive viewing experience, and the Ceramic Shield™ front cover, providing the biggest jump in durability ever on iPhone.

Price: iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 will be available in the new purple in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB models starting at INR 79,900 and 69,900.

It also comes with a Siri Remote® to make it easier to toggle between shows and movies on Apple TV with intuitive navigation controls. Apart from this, the Apple TV 4K works on tvOS with Apple devices.

AirTags by Apple

In an attempt to diversify its 'Find My' ecosystem, Apple introduced AirTags. The AirTags are a small accessory designed to help keep track of and find the items that matter most with Apple's 'Find My' app. Whether attached to a handbag, keys, backpack, or other items, AirTag taps into the vast, global Find My network1 and can help locate a lost item, all while keeping location data private and anonymous with end-to-end encryption.

Price: INR 3,190 and INR 10,900

Availability: From Friday, April 30, apple.com and through Apple Authorised Resellers
