Prefer Android? Here are four best alternatives to the iPhone 12 series

If you're an Android person but want a smartphone that matches up to the iPhone 12 series, we have some good news for you!

Khevna Pandit

Earlier this month, Apple launched its much-awaited iPhone 12 series for its eager, ardent fans. In fact, the Hi-Speed 2020 event, more or less, took the world by storm. With top-notch phones in the series ranging between 119,900 and INR 129,900, respectively, the iPhone Pro Max is now deemed as Apple's biggest phone ever.

However, if iOS is not your style, you're in luck -- several Android phones in the market today can match up with similar specifications (and some with even better features!). We've rounded up a list of Android alternatives that you can opt for instead of the iPhone series:

Google Pixel 5

The Pixel series has always publicised itself as the Android equivalent of Apple's iPhone range. And rightly so, the Pixel 5 lives up to the claim. Not too great in size, and rather easy to handle, Pixel's vivid resolution and its up-to-date software upgrades are definitely a match for the iPhone 12. Amid all the things it can do that the iPhone also includes night-mode portrait shots. Apart from that, the Google Pixel 5 comes with a host of Google-exclusive features -- and we especially love how its voice recorder app can transcribe our interviews to text without a glitch!

One Plus 8T

By the time the anti-China sentiments kicked in, One Plus had already paved its way into the Indian market. Every release from the smartphone giant keeps getting grander and better, of course. And while it does get a little steep, One Plus has managed to deliver high-end specs at a relatively affordable rate for its loyal users. And if speed is your area of concern, rest assured that it delivers it just the way you like. Everything beginning from fast charging to its vivid, premium glass designs -- the One Plus 8T is a great alternative to the iPhone 12.

Samsung Galaxy FE

Samsung Galaxy FE launched around the same time as the iPhone 12. However, this was the first time a Galaxy S20 phone was priced moderately for its users. Available in a plethora of lucid colours, the phone has the Qualcomm 865 processor, a bright and vivid screen and is also water-resistant. In fact, the phone also comes with a refresh-rate much higher than the iPhone 12. And unlike other phones in its range, this one also comes with a micro SD card slot that you can use to expand your storage -- if required.

Samsung Galaxy Ultra

For its price, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra delivers a flagship SoC (system on chip), a colourful QHD+ 120Hz OLED screen, water resistance, and wireless charging. However, what sets it apart from the rest of the phones in its range is the 8K recording, its triple rear camera setup and the iconic 'S Pen'. And although it is a little more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy FE, it makes an excellent purchase if you're someone who prefers the S Pen feature or is actively into illustrating.
