Pune: Jupiter Electric Mobility (JEM) has kicked off a two-month nationwide roadshow aimed at expanding its dealership network in key Indian states.
The roadshow is part of the company’s plan to tap into the rising demand for commercial electric vehicles (EVs) and prepare for the launch of its flagship model, the Tez, in December 2024.
The roadshow will focus on regions where electric commercial vehicles are poised for high adoption, with each state selected based on its unique needs:
Bengaluru is targeted for its startup and tech-driven logistics, where speed and sustainability are crucial.
Punjab and Haryana will benefit from sustainable solutions for agricultural transport.
Maharashtra’s urban hubs like Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur are key markets for e-commerce and long-range transport.
Gujarat, with its thriving SMEs, will gain from economical commercial EV options.
Tamil Nadu, a growing hub for industrial logistics, aligns with JEM’s EV strategy.
For participating dealers, the roadshow provides a timely opportunity to capitalize on India’s expanding EV market, which is being driven by government incentives and rising fuel costs.
JEM’s comprehensive ecosystem includes financing, charging infrastructure, and flexible leasing options, ensuring a seamless transition to electric mobility for fleet operators and Driver Cum Owners (DCOs).
JEM’s Managing Director, Vivek Lohia, emphasized the company’s commitment to building long-term partnerships that offer tailored solutions.
"At Jupiter Electric Mobility, our goal is not just to deliver electric vehicles, but to empower our dealers and communities to be central contributors in reshaping India’s transportation landscape," he said.
"This roadshow is an essential step in creating a network that will transform regional logistics and accelerate the shift to sustainable mobility."
In addition to expanding its dealer network, JEM is actively forming strategic partnerships in the charging, financing, and leasing sectors to facilitate smooth EV adoption across diverse industries.
These collaborations, along with future plans, aim to establish JEM as a leader in the electric commercial vehicle segment in India.
