Pune: Kalyani Strategic Systems Ltd (KSSL), a subsidiary of Bharat Forge Ltd, has announced plans to join forces with U.S. defense giants AM General and Mandus Group LLC to co-develop and co-produce next-generation artillery platforms.
These platforms, featuring cutting-edge advanced recoil technology, aim to meet the growing demand for modern light artillery systems in global markets.
The collaboration seeks to develop 105mm and 155mm artillery platforms designed to enhance firepower, precision, mobility, and overall tactical performance.
As battlefield scenarios evolve, armies around the world are seeking solutions that can withstand harsh conditions and offer superior mobility while minimizing logistical demands.
This joint effort between KSSL, AM General, and Mandus Group aims to deliver precisely that: artillery platforms that are compact, lightweight, and rugged, capable of performing across various terrains and weather conditions.
The newly developed artillery systems will feature advanced technologies that optimize crew requirements, improve transportability, and enhance survivability. Additionally, these platforms will incorporate modular designs, providing flexibility and ease of deployment for modern combat needs.
