KEITH SEQUEIRA AND ROCHELLE RAO
The couple who were a part of the reality show Bigg Boss were pronounced man and wife in a discreet ceremony on March 4 in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu. It was a dreamy beach wedding. The couple took to Instagram to announce their marital status, which came as a surprise to most people in the entertainment industry and their fans.
RUBINA DILAIK AND ABHINAV SHUKLA
Popularly known as Choti Bahu, this television star got married to her longtime boyfriend, model-actor Abhinav Shukla. The ceremony took place on June 21 in Shimla as per Himachali and Punjabi rituals.
SHWETA BASU PRASAD AND ROHIT MITTAL
Famous for her roles in films like Makdee, Badrinath ki Dulhaniya, and television series Chandra Nandini, Shweta Basu Prasad tied the knot with boyfriend Rohit Mittal in a low-key ceremony on December 14 in Pune. Their wedding was an amalgamation of Bengali and Marwari traditions.
GAURAV CHOPRA AND HITISHA CHERANDA
The former Bigg Boss 10 contestant who was earlier in a relationship with Kyun Ki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi star Narayani Shastri has finally tied the knot with Hitisha Cheranda, a management graduate. They tied the knot on February 19 in New Delhi in the presence of their families and close friends.
AYAZ KHAN AND AMISH KHAN
Actor Ayaz Khan who rose to fame for his role in the daily soap Dil Mil Gaye got married to Lucknow-based Amish Khan on March 16 without creating any buzz. This arranged marriage took place in the city of Nawabs which happens to be Ayaz’s hometown as well.
RAGHU RAM AND NATALIE DI LUCCIO
Roadies creator Raghu Ram tied the knot with Italian-Canadian singer Natalie Di Luccio on December 12. The marriage took place as per South Indian traditions at a beach in Goa. This was followed by a white Christian wedding as well. Close pals Teejay Sindhu and Ranvijay Singh were among the few celebrities to witness their hushed celebrations.
SAINA NEHWAL AND PARUPALLI KASHYAP
This sports duo have been in love since 2003. Indian badminton player Saina Nehwal finally tied the knot with Indian shuttler Parupalli Kashyap on December 14, in a private ceremony. However, the reception party in Hyderabad was grand, attended by prominent personalities such as South superstar Nagarjuna, Rakul Preet, Sudheer Babu and shuttler Shrikanth Kidambi among others.
SHRIYA SARAN AND ANDREI KOSCHEEV
Mostly recognised for her work in the South Indian film industry, actress Shriya Saran and Russian tennis player and entrepreneur Andrei Koscheev got hitched on March 12. This private ceremony took place in Mumbai and was attended by family and close friends including Manoj Bajpayee and Shabana Azmi from the film industry.
