Slowly but steadily awards shows are getting normal again amid the ongoing pandemic. As part of the award season, the 2021 Billboard Music Awards are also back in full swing! The star-studded event is sure to celebrate some of the hottest names in music today. With appearances from all our favourite stars, including host Nick Jonas, the evening is sure to be a big celebration.
Performance on Billboard Charts, widely considered to be the authority in the music industry, determines the nominees and to-be winners from the music industry. According to Billboard’s official website, ‘the finalists and winners are based on key fan interactions with music, including album and digital song sales, streaming, radio airplay, and social engagement, tracked by Billboard and its data partners, including MRC Data.’
Who is performing?
The official website of BBMA has confirmed that TS, Doja Cat, SZA, AJR, Bad Bunny and Karol G, DJ Khaled featuring H.E.R. and Migos, Duran Duran, Glass Animals, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis with Sounds Of Blackness featuring Ann Nesby and Twenty One Pilots will be taking over the stage this time.
