Mumbai: In a big development in a drug-related case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) conducted a raid at the house of Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal in Mumbai. Arjun Rampal’s house was raided a day after the brother of actor's girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades was arrested.

The investigational agency arrested the South African national after it came to light that he was in touch with the drug peddlers arrested in the drugs case linked to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Earlier, the NCB had summoned Bollywood actresses Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan in the drugs nexus.

The NCB also raided film producer Firoz Nadiadwala and arrested his wife Shabana Saeed in connection with a drugs-recovery case on Sunday. The NCB also issued a summon to Nadiadwala.

The NCB probe started earlier this year when, during investigations into actor Sushant Singh Rajput's demise in June, WhatsApp chats involving drugs were reported on the phone of his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.
