Theatrical Innovation Meets Timeless Devotion

Broadway Ramlila is more than just a show—it's a cultural phenomenon that stays faithful to the classic versions of the Ramayana by Valmiki and Tulsidas. Yet, it doesn't shy away from modernity.

Expect stunning 3D stage designs that transport you to the world of Satyug, breathtaking choreography, and music that reverberates with the voices of iconic artists like Udit Narayan and Kailash Kher.

The show’s music, directed by Chandra Kamal and Bharat Kamal, features 18 original tracks, narrated by none other than the legendary Mukesh Khanna.

In just three hours, the production takes the audience on an unforgettable journey through Lord Ram's life, from his divine birth to his heroic battles, all while imparting the eternal wisdom and values that have made the Ramayana one of the most enduring stories ever told.

The show features a cast of over 100 skilled actors and dancers, all clad in intricate costumes that add a layer of authenticity to the performance.

A Visionary’s Labor of Love

At the heart of Broadway Ramlila is Rajender Mittal, the creative mastermind who has nurtured this project from the very beginning. Mittal has been on a mission to enhance the show year after year, pushing creative and technical boundaries to give audiences a world-class experience.

This year is no different, as the production returns with redesigned sets, revamped costumes, and a fresh cast.

“We’ve upgraded everything—from the visuals to the audience experience,” shares Mittal. “This year, we’ve introduced luxury lounges, air-conditioned theatre-style boxes, and a premium food court to ensure that the audience can immerse themselves in the show comfortably.”

The attention to detail and focus on enhancing the viewer experience has been a hallmark of Broadway Ramlila, setting it apart from traditional Ramlila performances.

Setting Trends and Breaking Boundaries

Broadway Ramlila’s influence extends beyond its immediate audience. It has set a new standard for Ramlila productions across Delhi, inspiring many to adopt the three-hour "Sampurn Ramayana" format.

In fact, the production was formerly known by that name, but due to its growing popularity and distinct style, it was rebranded as Broadway Ramlila.

Ishwar Bansal, Chairman of the Aryan Heritage Foundation, describes it as "a groundbreaking production that has redefined the way we experience Ramlila in India."

The show has transcended traditional boundaries, drawing in not only Ramlila enthusiasts but also theatre-goers from all walks of life.

“We’ve created something that bridges the gap between tradition and modernity,” Bansal adds. “It’s a celebration of India’s rich cultural heritage, but presented in a way that feels fresh, relevant, and captivating.”

A Show That’s Set to Travel

The magic of Broadway Ramlila isn’t just confined to Delhi. Saurabh Mittal, Senior Vice President of the Aryan Heritage Foundation, envisions the production becoming a traveling show, taking Lord Ram’s story to audiences across India.

“The lessons from Lord Ram’s life should be accessible to all. This production rivals the grandeur of Broadway shows in New York, and we believe it can have that same impact across India,” he shares.

A Spectacle for All Ages

With a cast of over 100, world-class music, stunning visuals, and the timeless tale of Lord Ram at its core, Broadway Ramlila promises to be an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages. Whether you’re a lover of the Ramayana, a theatre enthusiast, or simply looking for a grand cultural experience, this production offers something for everyone.

Anil Garg, General Secretary of the Aryan Heritage Foundation, sums it up best: “This year, we’re taking things to a whole new level. Broadway Ramlila isn’t just a show—it’s an experience that celebrates the richness of Indian culture in a way that feels both modern and timeless."
