This year’s Ganeshotsav was nothing short of spectacular for the Deshmukh family, as their annual Ganesha immersion ceremony gained massive attention on social media.

While every year, actor Riteish Deshmukh leads the procession with his brothers, this year the responsibility fell on the capable shoulders of his wife, Genelia Deshmukh, and her sister-in-law Aditi Deshmukh.

A heartwarming video of the two women conducting the Ganesh immersion has gone viral, capturing the attention and admiration of fans.
Traditionally, Riteish, along with his brothers and extended family, takes part in the immersion of their family’s Ganesha idol.

However, due to Riteish's tight shooting schedule for the upcoming season of "Bigg Boss Marathi 5," the task was carried out by Genelia and Aditi, the wives of the Deshmukh brothers.

The video, initially shared by Aditi and later by Genelia on her social media, shows the two daughters-in-law leading the ceremony with grace and joy.

Their joy is evident as they carefully place the Ganesha idol into the vehicle amidst chants of "Ganpati Bappa Morya." Fans have been quick to praise the two women for taking on the responsibility with such enthusiasm, with many noting how happy and fulfilled they looked during the ritual.

Genelia also shared a touching note with the video, writing, "Every year, we hesitate to lift the idol because we think it’s beyond us, but this time it felt like Bappa was telling Aditi and me that we could do it. And we did."

This simple yet heartfelt sentiment has resonated with many fans, who are applauding the bond between the Deshmukh sisters-in-law and their devotion to their family’s traditions.

As the video continues to trend, Riteish Deshmukh remains busy with several upcoming projects, including the much-anticipated new season of "Bigg Boss Marathi 5." Genelia, too, has her own exciting projects lined up, and fans are eagerly awaiting her return to the big screen.
