Actress Jahnavi Kiran Killekar, a notable contestant on the latest season of Bigg Boss Marathi 5, faced significant backlash for her behavior during her time on the show.
Initially, her actions earned her criticism from viewers, but after recognizing her mistakes, she worked to improve her conduct. However, the consequences of her time in the house extended beyond herself, as her family, including her husband, son, and in-laws, were subjected to intense trolling on social media.
In a candid interview with Media Talk Marathi following her exit from the Bigg Boss house, Jahnavi opened up about the pain she felt seeing her loved ones targeted by online trolls.
"The first thing that saddened me when I came out was how my husband, son, in-laws, and parents were trolled. If I made mistakes, hold me accountable, but don't drag them into it. They did nothing wrong," Jahnavi shared.
Addressing specific comments about her husband’s appearance, she responded, "People even made memes, calling him names like 'Idliwala.' Why judge someone based on their looks? That’s not my way of thinking. I don’t love someone for their appearance; I judge a person based on their talent and what they are capable of."
Jahnavi continued to defend her husband, explaining that her love for him is based on the person he is, not his physical appearance. "I fell in love with him because of the kind of person he is and what he can do for me. It’s my choice, and I know I didn’t make the wrong decision. He may be dark-skinned, but he is mine, and for me, he is perfect."
She also praised her husband's ability to manage both her and their son, saying, "He handles everything at home, from taking care of our son to managing the household. That’s why he is the best for me."
