“I observe different fasts throughout the week and avoid eating meat on those days,” she shared. Sunita also clarified that her parents never knew about her conversion, and they remained unaware of her spiritual shift.

The interview also touched upon her relationship with Govinda and the cultural differences they navigated in their marriage. Sunita humorously recalled the early days of their relationship, highlighting their vastly different upbringings.

"I went from wearing mini skirts to wearing sarees after I met him, and my husband didn’t like that transition at all. I would tell him, 'I’m a girl from Bandra, and you are from Virar, boss.' And he would reply, 'No, my mother won’t approve of this.'"

Sunita and Govinda dated for three years before tying the knot, and their relationship has withstood the test of time. Today, they are proud parents of two children, Tina and Yashvardhan.

Their family dynamic is a blend of both Sunita’s modern upbringing and Govinda’s more traditional values, showcasing how they have managed to balance their differences over the years.
