The countdown to one of Hollywood’s biggest nights is on. Even though there has been a month-long delay, the 93rd Academy Awards will be hosted on Sunday, April 25.
While there has been a lot of speculation over nominations since the entire industry is hit by the ongoing global pandemic, it was a decent year for Academy Award movies on OTT. Most of the nominated films are either available on Amazon Prime or Netflix, the viewers can check out the films before they announce the winners on Sunday.

When
The red carpet preshow, Oscars: Into the Spotlight, hosted by Ariana Debose and Lil Rel Howery, will be broadcasted at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT live on ABC. While the Oscars will start at 8 pm on Sunday, April 25, from the Union Station Los Angeles and the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
What to expect from Oscars: Into the Spotlight?
According to ABC News, the 90-minute Oscars: Into the Spotlight leading up to the Oscars will feature several artists. Many including Celeste, H.E.R., Leslie Odom Jr, Laura Pausini, Daniel Pemberton, Molly Sandén and Diane Warren will perform their nominations for the Best Original Song category.
Reports also suggest that one of the performances would be recorded in Iceland, while the other four will take place in Los Angeles.

One can stream the live show on ABC.com or ABC app, Hulu Live TV, YouTubeTV, AT&T TV and FuboTV. Many of the mentioned streaming services offer a free trial too.
The show, according to the Academy Awards website, will be broadcasted in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide. Indian fans can watch the Oscars 2021 on Star India or can stream it on HotStar at 5.30 am IST.

This year, several notable stars are expected to present at the Oscars. In an Instagram post, announced the ensemble cast of presenters, which includes Angela Bassett, Halle Berry, Bong Joon Ho, Don Cheadle, Bryan Cranston, Laura Dern, Harrison Ford, Regina King, Marlee Matlin, Rita Moreno, Joaquin Phoenix, Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Renée Zellweger, Zendaya, among others.
