Saie Tamhankar, a household name in the Marathi film industry, has not only won hearts with her exceptional performances in Marathi films but has also started making waves in Hindi cinema.

Known for her versatility, Saie is set to return to the small screen with the web series Manavat Murders. The series features a star-studded cast, including Ashutosh Gowarikar, Sonali Kulkarni, and Makarand Anaspure.

While fans are eagerly awaiting the series, Saie recently spoke openly about her personal life, particularly her thoughts on marriage and relationships, during a candid interview.

In her recent conversation with Mumbai Tak, Saie delved into her perspective on relationships and what kind of partner she seeks. “Marriage is a huge responsibility,” she said.

“It requires continuous effort. Right now, I’m not entirely sure what I think about it. I’ve been so caught up in my career that I haven’t had the time to focus on marriage. But times are changing. There are various types of marriages and relationships now.

Rather than debating what’s right or wrong, I think it’s important to accept this change. Everyone’s journey is unique, and we should respect that. The institution of marriage has survived for so long, so there’s definitely some value to it.”

She went on to reveal her thoughts about not wanting to live a life of solitude. “I wouldn’t want to be alone for the rest of my life. I’m someone who loves the idea of family. But at this stage in my life, I don’t feel the need to get married.

I’ve thought about emotional stability, but I’m not the kind of person who can settle down in one place. I’m always on the move, and sitting still just isn’t part of my personality. I’m not actively looking for marriage right now, but maybe in a few months, I might start considering it.

In any relationship, transparency, respect, and freedom are essential. If one partner says they want to go on a solo trip, and the other partner questions why—that’s not the kind of relationship I want. That’s why I’m holding off. When these elements are present, relationships bloom and thrive.”

This isn’t the first time Saie has spoken openly about her personal life. The actress was previously married but divorced in 2015. For the past few years, she was in a relationship with Anish Jog, which she had confirmed through heartfelt posts on social media. However, there are now whispers about a possible breakup between the two, sparking speculation among her fans.
