With the lockdown lifted, most Bollywood actors got back to their shoots. While some movies are still in nascent stages, others have finished post-production and are all set to unleash the magic of cinema on the big screen.

83
Ranveer Singh’s 83 will all set to be released on June 4. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film is based on the Indian cricket team’s first World Cup win under the captaincy of Kapil Dev in 1983. The movie will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Shershaah
Starring actor Sidharth Malhotra, Shershaah is based on the life of the Kargil hero - Captain Vikram Batra. The movie will hit the screens on July 2. The film, directed by Vishnu Varadhan, takes its title from the officer's codename. The movie also stars Kiara Advani.
Bell Bottom
The espionage thriller, starring Akshay Kumar in the lead with Lara Dutta, Huma Qureshi, and Vaani Kapoor, is slated to release on May 28. Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, the movie features Akshay in the role of a RAW agent.
Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui
Actor Ayushmann Khurrana revealed the release date of Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui to be July 9. The announcement caught the attention of his fans as he announced the release date with his shirtless picture. The movie, which stars Vaani Kapoor in the lead opposite Ayushmann, is directed by Abhishek Kapoor. In the progressive love story, Ayushmann will be seen playing a role of a cross-functional athlete.
Jhund
The legend, actor Amitabh Bachchan, announced the release date of his upcoming film, Jhund, to be on June 18. The sports film marks the Hindi directorial debut of filmmaker Nagraj Manjule. The movie features Bachchan as Vijay Barse, a Nagpur-based retired sports teacher who started a slum soccer movement.
“COVID gave us setbacks but it’s comeback time now! We’re back in theatres. ‘Jhund’ releasing 18th June,” the actor tweeted.
Atrangi Re
Akshay Kumar, 53, will appear in a special role in Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re. Co-starring Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush, the film is slated for an August 6 release. The film reunites Dhanush and Rai after their 2013 critical hit Raanjhanaa.
