Pune: Baramati witnessed a closely contested Lok Sabha election, sparking discussions about the upcoming Assembly election. When questioned by journalists about the possibility of Jay Pawar being given a chance in Baramati, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar stated that the final decision would be made by the Parliamentary Board, considering the inclinations of the public and local workers.

Ajit Pawar also commented on the 'Ladki Bahin' scheme, stating, "There is a positive atmosphere among women due to the scheme. Yesterday, funds were deposited into the accounts of 25 lakh women. It is the opposition's right to criticize, but women from the working class are receiving financial aid.

There were rumors about a conflict between Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar over the allocation of funds during a cabinet meeting.

However, Ajit Pawar dismissed these claims, saying, "There is no conflict between the Chief Minister and me. We are running the government harmoniously." He further stated that the opposition lacks development issues and is trying to create confusion, while the government will continue to focus on development, highlighting the projects they have implemented. NCP state president and MP Sunil Tatkare responded to the overwhelming support for the NCP's 'Jan Sanman Yatra,' stating, "This shows that Ajit Pawar should remain in the legislature. As the Parliamentary Board and state president, I can say that Ajitdada will be in the Assembly election race."

Speaking to the media before an event in Wadgaon Sheri, Pune, Tatkare asserted that Ajit Pawar must contest the Assembly elections. "When an election is contested under a leader's guidance, it is expected that the leader should also contest. I don't know the context in which he spoke, but as the Parliamentary Board and state president, I believe Ajitdada should be in the Assembly election race. It is not only my wish but the desire of all Maharashtra that Ajit Pawar should lead Maharashtra. Contesting elections is part of that leadership," Tatkare explained.

The 'Janasanman Yatra,' led by Ajit Pawar, began on the 8th. The yatra, which has been receiving an unprecedented response in North Maharashtra, will commence its journey through Western Maharashtra from Pune today.

The yatra has seen significant participation from women, who have been coming in large numbers to welcome Ajit Pawar, offering their blessings as 'Dada.' "This is our strength and power, and the political landscape in Maharashtra has undoubtedly shifted," Tatkare concluded.
