Pune: The All India Jamaat-e-Salmani community has announced its unconditional support for the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).
The declaration was made at a convention organized by the community, where key leaders and members gathered to express their alignment with the NCP’s vision and policies.
The convention saw the participation of several prominent figures, including the national president of the All India Jamaat-e-Salmani community, Advocate Zarif Ahmed Salmani, and Dheeraj Sharma, the national president of the Nationalist Youth Congress.
During the event, both leaders emphasized the growing support for the NCP from various communities.
Following the convention, the dignitaries addressed the media, where Dheeraj Sharma stated that the Salmani community, along with the Banjara community, the working class, and minority communities, has rallied behind the NCP.
He expressed that there is growing dissatisfaction among citizens with politics that prioritizes caste and religion, and that people are now looking for development and employment opportunities.
Sharma added that Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s decision to join the Mahayuti (Grand Alliance) is centered around development issues, and that state government schemes are benefiting the marginalized sections of society.
He noted that the NCP is steadily gaining the trust of citizens from all communities and religious backgrounds.
He also highlighted that the organizational presence of the NCP is expanding in various states across India, signaling the party’s growing influence at the national level.
