Pune: Allard University officially commenced its academic year 2023-24, welcoming its inaugural batch with an inspiring address from Vinay Singh, National Head of Avon’s Virtual Education Department.

The ceremony, held at the university campus, was marked by Singh's motivational speech, emphasizing the importance of hard work, consistency, determination, and a continuous learning mindset for achieving success.

Singh, the event's chief guest, highlighted the significance of skill development in today’s rapidly transforming global market. "By 2030, the lifespan of new companies will be just ten years. Only those with the right skills will be able to sustain themselves," he stated.

He urged students to focus on honing their skills during their studies to eliminate the need for further training when they enter the workforce.

The event also featured remarks from other notable guests, including Mukund Wangikar, Vice President of Digital Engineering at Innovation India, and Dr. Pradeep Vaikos, Senior Manager at IBM Technology. They discussed future industry demands and shared insights on overcoming challenges through experience.

Dr. L.R. Yadav, Founder and Chancellor of Allard University, presided over the ceremony, expressing his vision for the university. "We aim to prepare students not to seek jobs, but to create them. Success requires hard work, honesty, and practical knowledge," he said.

Dr. Yadav also announced that the university had awarded scholarships worth ₹4 crore this year to support students' education.

Dr. Poonam Kashyap, Vice-Chancellor of Allard University, spoke about the university's commitment to shaping students' careers based on knowledge and preparing them for global competition.

"Our experienced faculty will utilize their expertise to strengthen students both physically and mentally. We are dedicated to providing education that fosters innovation, research, and project-based learning for the holistic development of our students," she remarked.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Ananya Arjuna, Registrar of Allard University, acknowledging the presence of esteemed guests, faculty, and students.
